| hey girls! this is janice here from berkeley yo! haha. but i just wanted to say hi and let you all know that things are going well here- last week was very full- too many things happened at once (see my xanga! sunsetmelody5), but it's starting to wind down now. oh, and i have to mention that i did get the internship at ucsf- the one i applied for over break. haha i was so preoccupied with other stuff that was going on that the excitement didn't really hit me until...like friday (i received the call tuesday). but yes! praise God- i guess this is His will for me now. it's unpaid *sigh*, long term, and possibly summer- but i'm just gonna see how it goes this semester, and if i really like doing this in general before i even think about summer (i want to go home!! haha). it looks like i'll be working with mice and doing experiments on them (eek!) to better understand human neurology. it seems interesting, we'll see
i hope all of you are doing well! i miss you all- good luck in your studies and talk to you all soon!!

| Thanks to all of you who showed up to the meeting at my house! Thank
you to everybody who brought food! It was yummy!
During the meeting we discussed many things. Among the things discussed were the following.
1. We agreed that from now on we will meet twice a month, always on
Monday at 7pm. We will alternate 220 so that they are not on the same
weeks as couple's group.
2. We discussed the possibility of finding an advisor, a woman who can
occasionally come to meetings who we can go to for guidance, direction,
and support.
3. We discussed the likelihood that 220 will become a regular ministry at River Ridge.
4. We discussed possible books we can go over.
5. We nominated and figured out the core group. Congrats to our new chairs, Mariko and Kristina!
